Police have charged a man over the alleged glassing and assault of two people on Sydney's Northern Beaches this weekend.
About 11pm Sunday (25 January 2026), emergency services responded to reports of an assault at a hotel on The Corso, Manly.
Officers arrived and were told an unknown man had allegedly thrown a beer bottle at a 44-year-old man before striking a 49-year-old man with a metal bar stool.
The man then left prior to police arrival with the two other men being treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene.
The younger man was taken to Northern Beaches Hospital while the older man was conveyed to Royal North Shore Hospital in stable conditions.
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command were informed the two men became involved in a verbal argument with the unknown man before the alleged assault.
Following inquiries, including a public appeal for information, police arrested a 36-year-old man at Dee Why Police Station, about 6pm yesterday (Monday 26 January 2026).
He was charged with affray.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear before Manly Local Court on Wednesday 18 February 2026.
