Police have charged a 22-year-old man in relation to a serious assault in Herdsmans Cove.
The man has been charged with:
- 1x Assault
- 1x Aggravated Burglary
He has been remanded in custody to appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Police will allege that around 1:30am this morning, the man gained entry to a residence on Cooinda Place and assaulted the occupant
A 29-year-old man sustained significant head injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
The victim and offender were all known to each-other.
