A fourth man has been charged by the Criminal Groups Squad as part of ongoing investigations into the large-scale manufacture of methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA).
In December 2016, detectives from the State Crime Command's Criminal Groups Squad established Strike Force Lovelle to investigate the manufacture of prohibited drugs across NSW.
During the course of the investigation, a number of clandestine laboratories were dismantled, including one on a rural property at Rossmore in June 2019.
The examination of the scene determined at least 200kg of MDA was manufactured at the property, while various exhibits were seized for further forensic analysis.
Three men were previously charged by strike force investigators and remain before the court.
Following further inquiries, investigators attended a home unit at Mortdale on Thursday (9 April 2020), where they served a 49-year-old man with a Court Attendance Notice for manufacture prohibited drug-large commercial quantity.
He is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Thursday 21 May 2020.
Investigations under Strike Force Lovelle continue.
