Police charge man over sexual assault - Oatlands

A man will face court today charged over the alleged sexual assault of a woman in Sydney's north-west at the weekend.

Detectives from The Hills Police Area Command commenced inquiries following reports an 18-year-old woman had been sexually assaulted by a man at a party at a home at Oatlands in the early hours of Saturday (20 July 2019).

Following extensive inquiries, detectives arrested a 23-year-old man at the Oatlands home about 10.15am yesterday (Monday 22 July 2019).

The man was taken to Castle Hill Police Station and charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent, and four counts of sexually touch another person without consent.

He has been refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Tuesday 23 July 2019).
