A man will face court today charged with importing a commercial quantity of border-controlled drug.
Officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command began inquiries after a package was delivered to a restaurant in Martin Place, Sydney on Tuesday 3 June 2025.
The package allegedly contained 4kg of Ketamine, concealed in four resealable bags, hidden within card game boxes. The estimated street value is $600,000.
About 12pm yesterday, Wednesday 11 June 2025, officers arrested a 34-year-old man in Martin Place.
He was taken to Day Street Police Station where he was charged with possess commercial quantity unlawful import: border-controlled drug.
He was refused bail to appear before the Downing Centre Local Court today, Thursday 12 June 2025
