Tasmania Police has continued investigations into a significant fraud allegedly committed upon the Central Highlands Council between 2013 and 2020 involving approximately $135,000 in value.
A 38 year old Bothwell man was arrested on 30 December 2020 and has been charged with fraud. He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on 11 March 2021.
The man has been jointly charged with a 37 year old woman, whose next appearance will be on 10 March 2020.
Investigations into the matter are continuing.
