Police Charge Man With High Range PCA - Near Gundagai

A man has been charged with high range PCA following a crash in the states Riverina Region yesterday.

About 7.20pm (Monday 23 June 2025), emergency services were called to Oura Road, Nangus, about 23km west of Gundagai, after reports of a single vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol Command responded and found a car had left the roadway and struck a fence.

Police conducted a roadside breath test allegedly returning a positive reading.

The 28-year-old driver was arrested and taken to Gundagai Police Station where he was subjected to a secondary test, allegedly returning a reading of 0.294.

The man's license was suspended.

He was issued with a court attendance notice for drive with high range PCA, to appear in Gundagai Local Court on Friday 18 July 2025.
