Police Charge Man With Intimidation And Firearm Offences - Belrose

A man will face court following an investigation into alleged intimidation and firearm offences in Belrose.

About 7.50pm yesterday (Wednesday 1 October 2025), three teenagers were riding e-bikes on Pringle Avenue, Belrose, when they have been approached by a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle – a 47-year-old man – allegedly stopped his vehicle next to the group, allegedly presenting a firearm and threatening the trio, before leaving the area.

The three teenagers contacted police and officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation.

About 9.45am today (Thursday 2 October 2025), police stopped a vehicle of interest on Haigh Avenue, Belrose, and arrested the man.

A search warrant was subsequently executed at an address on Haigh Avenue, where police allegedly located and seized a gel-blaster pistol.

The man was taken to Manly Police Station where he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal) and possess unregistered firearm in public place.

He was refused bail to appear before Manly Local Court tomorrow (Friday 3 October 2025).
