A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a man in Haymarket earlier this year.
Detectives from Sydney City Police Area Command commenced inquiries after a 27-year-old man was found deceased in a hotel room on Campbell Street, Haymarket on Tuesday 4 June 2019.
Police will be alleging the man was found to have a fatal amount of methamphetamine in his system.
Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 27-year-old man about midday today (Wednesday 16 October 2019) at Burwood Police Station. He was then charged with manslaughter.
He was refused bail and will appear in Burwood Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 17 October 2019).
