An operation investigating a spate of burglaries and aggravated burglaries in Mildura culminated in the arrest of a 40-year-old man in Mildura on Saturday night.
The operation involved officers from Mildura Crime Investigation Unit, Community Engagement Unit, Crime Scene Officers and local police as they investigated a number of burglaries which occurred between 31 October 2021 and 4 December 2021.
A 40-year-old man was arrested in the vicinity of Tenth Street about 10pm after a burglary was committed in the nearby area.
He has been charged numerous counts of burglary, aggravated burglary, theft and commit indictable offences whilst on bail.
He was remanded to appear at Mildura Magistrates' Court on 6 December.
