Police charge man with Parafield Gardens sexual assault, South Australia

A northern suburbs man has been arrested for a sexual assault that allegedly occurred at Parafield Gardens on Thursday night.

It will be alleged the victim and suspect met at Parafield Gardens on Thursday night 11 February and then both walked to a nearby location where the man sexually assaulted the woman.

Today, Saturday 13 February, Detectives from the Northern District Investigation Branch arrested an 18-year-old man from Adelaide's northern suburbs and charged him with four counts of rape and one count of sexual manipulation.

The arrested man has been refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday 15 February.
