A man will face court following an investigation into alleged property offences in the state's west in April this year.
Officers attached to Central West Police District commenced an investigation after a Holden Rodeo was allegedly stolen from a home on Gloucester Street, Forbes on Tuesday 1 April 2025.
About 8.30am on Wednesday 2 April 2025, police located the vehicle abandoned on Clarinda Street, Parkes before the seized it for a forensic examination.
Following inquiries, about 1.50pm today (Wednesday 23 July 2025), police arrested a 27-year-old man at a home on Powter Street, Forbes.
He was taken to Forbes Police Station where he was charged with take and drive conveyance without consent of owner.
He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 4 tomorrow (Thursday 24 July 2025).
