Police charge man with serious domestic violence offences - Quakers Hill

A man has been charged with serious domestic violence related offences and escaping lawful custody after he was arrested in Marayong last night.

About 7.45pm (Tuesday 14 January 2020), officers attached to Quakers Hill Police Area Command attended an address at Jill Street, Marayong.

As the man entered the premises officers attempted to arrest him and he allegedly resisted.

The 34-year-old was arrested and taken to Riverstone Police Station, where he was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor lacerations to his right palm.

He was charged with intentionally choke a person with recklessness, aggravated enter dwelling, escape lawful custody and contravene apprehended violence order offences.

He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court today (Wednesday 15 January 2020).
