Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man and a woman following an alleged assault in Sunshine earlier this month.
Detectives executed a search warrant this morning in Deer Park, arresting the pair.
A 24-year-old Deer Park man has been charged with intentionally cause injury, affray and unlawful assault.
An 18-year-old woman has been charged with affray.
They have been bailed to appear at Sunshine Magistrates' court on 4 February, 2027.
During the alleged incident, a 27-year-old Mickleham man was located unconscious on Hampshire Road about 3.30pm on 1 October.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
