Police have charged a 22-year-old man from Queenstown with Assault in relation to an altercation in Queenstown on 21 May.
Police will allege the man was involved in an altercation at the Queenstown Crows Football Club which resulted in a 31-year-old man from Queensland suffering a suspected fractured jaw.
The charged man was bailed to appear before the Queenstown Court at a later date.
Police thank the witnesses that came forward and provided information which assisted the investigation.
