Police charge teen after Wyndham Vale aggravated burglary

Detectives from Wyndham Vale Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 16-year-old following an alleged aggravated burglary in Wyndham Vale this morning.

The teenager broke into the home on Grima Crescent about 2am and threatened the occupants of the home with a handsaw.

The Wyndham Value teen demanded the victim's hand over mobile phones and car keys and during the incident, allegedly held the saw against one of the victim's, causing minor injuries to the man's upper body.

The teen has been charged with aggravated burglary, false imprisonment, theft and threats to kill.

He will appear at a children's court today.
