Police charge three after drugs and cash seized in Carrum Downs

Southern Metro Divisional Response Unit officers charged three people and seized illicit drugs and cash in Carrum Downs yesterday.

Investigators executed a search warrant at an address on Myhaven Circuit just after 8am and located a quantity of suspected methylamphetamine, 1,4 Butanediol, MDMA, $12,000 cash and allegedly stolen identification cards.

A 37-year-old Carrum Downs man was charged with traffick methylamphetamine, traffick 1,4 Butanediol, possess MDMA, possess proceeds of crime and other offences. He was remanded to appear at the Frankston Magistrates' Court this morning.

A 35-year-old man and 35-year-old woman, both from Carrum Downs, were each charged with possess methylamphetamine and possess 1,4 Butanediol. They were bailed to appear at the Frankston Magistrates' Court on 19 July.

A 32-year-old Koo Wee Rup man was also arrested and released without charge.
