Three people have been charged after a man was allegedly stabbed at a home in Sydney's north-west earlier this month.
About 9.30pm (Saturday 6 March 2021), emergency services were called to a home on Cornell Place at Rouse Hill, following reports a man had been injured.
Officers from The Hills Police Area Command attended and found a 22-year-old man with a single stab wound to his back.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Westmead Hospital and underwent surgery.
Following an investigation two juveniles and an adult have been arrested and charged.
Detectives from The Hills Police Area Command conducted a search warrant at Schofields on Thursday 18 March 2021 and arrested a 17-year-old male.
He was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and common assault. He was refused bail and appeared in a children's court on 19 March 2021 where he was granted conditional bail and will reappear at a children's court on Friday 14 May 2021.
An 18-year-old man was arrested at Castle Hill on Saturday 20 March 2021 and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.
He was granted conditional bail and is expected to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 7 April 2021.
A third male - aged 17 - was arrested at a house in Beaumont Hills today (Monday 22 March 2021). He was taken to Castle Hill Police Station and charged with two counts of common assault.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear before a children's court on Tuesday 13 April 2021.
