Police charge three people with Howrah burglary

Three people have been charged after police intercepted them leaving the scene of a burglary in Howrah this morning.

Around 6am, police received information regarding a vehicle leaving Fermoy Crescent where a house under construction had been burgled.

Police attended and located the vehicle and arrested the occupants.

A 51-year-old man and 38-year-old man, both from New Norfolk, have been charged with Burglary and Stealing and bailed to appear before the Court at a later date.

A 33-year-old man from New Norfolk was charged with Burglary and Stealing. He was detained to appear before the Court tonight.

As part of the investigation, Detectives from Bellerive CIB conducted several searches in the New Norfolk area which resulted in property stolen from Howrah being recovered.
