Police charge three teens after police pursuit - Hassall Grove

Three teens have been charged following a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle in Sydney's west last night.

About 9:30pm (Tuesday 28 May 2019) police initiated a pursuit of a vehicle reported stolen along Luxford Rd, Shalvey.

The pursuit was terminated when the stolen vehicle crossed onto the wrong side of the road on Carlisle Avenue, Bidwell.

A short time after, the car was involved in a crash with two other vehicles near the intersection of Luxford Road and Rooty Hill Road North at Hassall Grove.

Officers attached to North West Operations Support Group attended the scene of the collision and arrested two boys aged 12 and 15.

Two other boys aged 17 and 14 were located in a nearby yard, after fleeing the scene.

The group were taken to Riverstone Police Station. The 15-year-old was released without charge.

The 12-year-old was charged with breach of bail.

The 17-year-old and 14-year-old were charged with breach of bail and carry and conveyance.

All three had bail refused to appear before Parramatta Children's Court today (Wednesday 29 May 2019).
