Police Charge Two After Box Hill Affray

Whitehorse Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two people following an affray in Box Hill last month.

It is alleged the duo assaulted an 18-year-old man on the corner of Whitehorse and Station roads about 5.15pm on 16 June.

He sustained non-life-threatening facial injuries.

Detectives executed search warrants yesterday and two males were arrested.

A 19-year-old Mount Waverley man was charged with affray.

He was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates' Court on 8 September.

A 17-year-old boy from the Blackburn area was charged with affray.

He was bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.
