Police charge two after break and enter at Nowra

Two men have been charged following an alleged break and enter at a recycling depot in Nowra.

Shortly after 10.30pm yesterday (Monday 26 August 2019) police responded to security alarms being activated at a recycling depot on Flatrock Road, West Nowra.

Police entered bushland and located a safe that had been removed from the office. Shortly after, police located a 25-year-old man wearing gloves and a balaclava.

The man was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station.

As a result of police investigation, officers later attended a home in Sanctuary Point and arrested a 31-year-old man, who was taken to Nowra Police Station.

The 25-year-old man was charged with break, enter and steal and face disguised with intent to commit indictable offence.

The 31-year-old man was charged with break, enter and steal.

Both men were refused bail and are due to face Nowra Local Court today (Tuesday 27 August 2019).
