Two teenage boys will face Court after being charged following a high school fire at Deniliquin over the weekend.
About 12.45am on Saturday 29 November 2025, emergency services were called to reports of a building alight at a school on Harfleur Street, Deniliquin.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews worked to extinguish the fire, which caused major damage to multiple buildings.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Officers attached to Murray River Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation under Strike Force Soderblom.
Following inquiries, on Monday 1 December 2025, detectives from Strike Force Soderblom arrested two juvenile males, aged 15 and 16.
They were taken to Deniliquin Police Station where they were both charged with aggravated break and enter and destroy property by fire in company.
Both teens were granted strict conditional bail to appear before a children's court on Wednesday 10 December 2025.
