Police charge two after Western Freeway crash

Police have charged two men following a crash in Grangefields on Monday 13 September.

It is alleged a Chrysler sedan was stolen during an aggravated burglary at a home in Wendouree about 8am.

The vehicle was located near Leakes Road about 10am after it had crashed into the wire barrier.

Two men were arrested after a short foot pursuit.

A 31-year-old Wendouree man has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle and bail offences.

He has been remanded to appear at Ballarat Magistrates' Court on 14 October.

A 35-year-old Yarraville man has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, driving and bail related offences.

He has been remanded to appear at Ballarat Magistrates' Court on 20 September.
