Police charge two men after Braybrook warrant

Police from Altona North Divisional Response Unit arrested two men following the execution of a warrant in Braybrook yesterday (5 June).

The warrant was executed at an address in Mullenger Road about 3pm.

A 28-year-old Braybrook man has been charged with cultivate and traffic a commercial quantity of cannabis, theft of power and possess a prohibited weapon.

A 23-year-old Bacchus Marsh man has also been charged with cultivate and traffic a commercial quantity of cannabis and theft of power.

Both men have been remanded to reappear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today (6 June).

It is alleged a total of 660 cannabis plants were seized as part of the warrant.

The investigation remains ongoing.
