Police Charge Two Men After House Fire - Tolland

Two men have been charged following a house fire in the state's south today.

About 7.55am today (Friday 22 August 2025), emergency services were called to Oliver Place, Tolland, following reports of a house fire.

The fire caused extensive damage before it was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District attended and established a crime scene.

About 2.20pm today, police attended a home in Oliver Place, Tolland and arrested two men, aged 22 and 26.

They were taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station where they have both been charged with destroy property in company use fire less than $5,000, and aggravated break and enter dwelling in company intend steal less than $60,000.

Both men have been refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday 23 August 2025.

Inquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
