Police charge two men with wounding man in Waverly last Wednesday

Police have charged two men in relation to the wounding of a man in Waverly last Wednesday night.

The victim who was located on the Tasman Highway with serious abdomen injuries remains in the Launceston General Hospital in a stable condition.

A 46-year-old man from Waverly has been charged with Wounding. He was detained to appear before the Launceston Magistrates Court at 2.15pm today.

A 19-year-old man from Waverly was charged with Common Assault. He was bailed to appear before the Court on 25 March.
