Homicide Squad detectives have charged a woman following the death of a child in Albanvale yesterday.
The 31-year-old woman has been charged with one count of murder.
The charges follow the discovery of a toddler’s body at a property in Dover Street on Monday 6 February about 4pm.
The Albanvale woman has been held over to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
