Police Charge Woman After Assault - South Coast

A woman has been charged over an alleged assault that occurred in Vincentia on the NSW South Coast, earlier this week.

About 1.25pm on Tuesday 17 March 2026, emergency services were called to Moona Creek Road, Vincentia, about 7km north of Sanctuary Point, after a report of an alleged road rage incident and assault.

Police were told the occupants of a white Toyota Corolla hatchback attempted to speak to the female driver of a grey Ford Territory SUV, before she allegedly assaulted a 79-year-old man.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for serious injuries before being taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into the incident.

Following inquiries, about 1pm today (Thursday 19 March 2026), police arrested a 32-year-old woman at Nowra Police Station.

She was charged with reckless grievous bodily harm and granted conditional bail to appear before Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 24 March 2026.
