Police charge woman after drug seizures - Melbourne CBD

Detectives from the Illicit Firearms Squad have charged a woman after seizing various drugs and a significant quantity of cash in Melbourne this morning.

A search warrant was executed shortly after 9am at an address on Little Lonsdale Street.

A 20-year-old Melbourne woman was charged with traffick cannabis, traffick cocaine and possess drug of dependence.

She was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 26 May.

A traffickable quantity of what appears to be cannabis, a significant quantity of cash, and significant quantities of what is believed to be methylamphetamine, MDMA and prescription medication were seized at the address.

A 32-year-old Melbourne man was released and is expected to be charged on summons.
