A woman has been charged after police seized drugs in the state's Central West yesterday.
About 9.20am yesterday (Thursday 15 May 2025), officers attached to Central West Police District attended Orange Train Station and spoke with a woman leaving a bus.
After speaking with the woman, police conducted a search of her luggage and seized two bags of white substance alleged to be methamphetamine.
A 65-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station.
She was charged with supply prohibited drug over small and under indictable, possess prohibited drug, and supply prohibited drug over indictable and under commercial quantity.
The woman was refused bail and appeared at Orange Local Court yesterday (Thursday 15 May 2025), where she was given conditional bail to appear at the same court on Thursday 22 May 2025.
