Homicide Squad detectives have charged a woman following a fatal stabbing in Shepparton this morning.
A 47-year-old Shepparton woman has been charged with one count of murder and will face Shepparton Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
The charge follows an incident on Heysen Avenue, Shepparton around 1.15am on 2 June.
A 49-year-old Shepparton man was conveyed to hospital with life-threatening injuries however subsequently passed away.
The parties involved are believed to be known to each other.
