A woman will face court over two outstanding warrants on a pursuit and multiple traffic offences in Sydney's' north west.
About 11.30pm on Sunday 1 March 2026, officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command were at a services station on Windsor Road, Kellyville, when they located two occupants acting suspiciously in a parked sedan.
When police approached to speak to them, the driver allegedly failed to stop as directed and a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit continued through Sunnyholt Road, Blacktown, where it was terminated due to safety concerns.
A short time later, officers, with the assistance from PolAir and Dog Squad, located the vehicle abandoned in front of a pub on Cobham Street, Kings Park.
Crime scenes were established, and police seized the vehicle for a forensic examination.
On Monday 9 March 2026, police have released an image of a 32-year-old woman wanted on two outstanding warrants.
Following further inquiries, about 7pm yesterday (Thursday 12 March 2026), the woman was arrested on Cook Street, Kurnell.
She was taken to Sutherland Police Station where she was charged with two outstanding warrants on drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, drive motor vehicle not carry licence, give a false name, not stop vehicle when directed to do so, hinder/resist law enforcement officer in execution of duty, assault police officer in execution of duty without actual bodily harm (two counts), use etc offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention etc, escape police custody, driver not wear seatbelt properly adjusted and fastened, police pursuit – not stop – drive dangerously, P1 driver exceed speed more than 45km/h, enter vehicle or boat without consent of owner, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, goods suspected stolen in/on premises, and fail to appear in accordance with bail acknowledgement.
She was refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court today (Friday 13 March 2026).
