A woman has been charged with high range drink driving after allegedly returning a reading of 0.337 in Wollongong yesterday.
Just after 3.30pm (Wednesday 20 October 2021), officers attached to Wollongong Highway Patrol stopped a Mazda 3 on Storey Street, Fairy Meadow, due to the manner of driving.
Police will allege the vehicle was driven on the incorrect side of Elliots Road and Storey Street.
The driver – a 38-year-old woman – was subject to a roadside breath test, where she allegedly returned a positive reading.
She was arrested and taken to Corrimal Police Station, where she returned a breath analysis reading of 0.337.
The Fairy Meadow woman was charged with high range PCA. Her licence has also been suspended.
She was issued a Court Attendance Notice to appear in Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday 30 November 2021.
