A woman has been charged with high-range drink driving in Sydney's south.
About 5.30pm yesterday (Monday 20 October 2025), emergency services were called to a childcare centre on Gymea Bay Road, Gymea, following reports of a concern for welfare.
Officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol Command attended alongside NSW Ambulance paramedics.
A 43-year-old woman declined medical assistance and, following inquiries made by police, was breath tested at the scene, returning an alleged positive result.
She was arrested and taken to Sutherland Police Station, where she underwent a breath analysis which returned an alleged result of 0.359.
The woman was charged with drive with high range PCA and was granted conditional bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 20 November 2025.
Her licence was also suspended.
