As a result of the ongoing investigation into the disturbance in Launceston CBD today, police have tonight charged a 17 year old male youth with the following:
- Wounding x 1
- Possess dangerous article in a public place (knife)
The youth was detained to appear at an out of hours court at 11am on Saturday 14/8/2023, Launceston Magistrates Court, Youth Justice Division .
Police would like to thank the members of the public that assisted with this matter.
