Police concerned for man missing from Hornsby

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing in Sydney's Upper North Shore.

Brendan O'Connor, aged 83, was last seen at a home on Ida Street, Hornsby, about 10.30pm yesterday (Thursday 15 April 2021).

He was reported missing to officers from Kuring-Gai Police Area Command later the same day, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Brendan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 160cm and 170cm tall, of medium build, with a fair complexion and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants, a tan coloured jumper and brown shoes.

Police are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
