Police continue investigations into brawl in Balmain

Police continue to make inquiries following a brawl in Balmain overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Darling Street about 12.30am today, following reports of a brawl.

Officers arrived and the groups were separated.

Two men suffered minor facial injuries during the incident but did not require medical treatment.

While police were making inquiries, another man arrived at the scene and became involved in a verbal argument with some of those involved in the earlier brawl.

The 23-year-old man was arrested for breach of the peace and taken to Balmain Police Station, but he was later released.

Officers continue to make inquiries into the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information on the incident to call Crime Stoppers.
