Police continue search for person of interest - Dawsons Siding Road, Dulverton

Devonport CIB is continuing to search for a person of interest in relation to a police operation conducted in the Dawsons Siding Road, Dulverton area yesterday.

On Monday 5 April 2021 members of Devonport CIB attended a rural address in the area of Dawsons Siding Road, Dulverton to locate and arrest people believed to be involved in the commission of several property related crimes committed on the North West Coast.

On arrival of police at the property, a 26 year old man fled into nearby bushland on an ATV.

Despite a comprehensive search of the area including the use of the Westpac Rescue helicopter, the man was not located.

A second man, aged 21 years of Devonport, was arrested at the location and charged with several counts of burglary and stealing. He was bailed to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court at a later date.

During the operation police recovered a significant amount of stolen property from recent business burglaries and a stolen motor vehicle from the location.

A number of people are assisting police with their enquiries in respect to this matter, however police would like to speak to Johnathon Mark Berwick (photo attached) who it is believed can assist to resolve a number of property related matters.
