Police continue to appeal for witnesses to Keysborough armed robbery

Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives continue to appeal for witnesses following an armed robbery in Keysborough on Sunday 20 December.

A man armed with a firearm entered a bottle shop at the corner of Corrigan Road and Kingsclere Avenue about 6.25pm.

The offender threatened the male staff member and ripped the cash register from the counter before fleeing in a grey Toyota RAV4.

The vehicle was located a short time later in Springvale South where it had been set on fire.

The offender is described as 180cm tall, solid build and was wearing black clothing.

Detectives have released CCTV of the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward, in particular a man and woman inside the store at the time of the armed robbery.

Investigators are also requesting any road users with dash cam footage between 6pm and 7pm on 19 December on Clarkes Road, between Springvale Road and Spring Road, Springvale South to come forward.
