Police continue to investigate 2020 Keysborough armed robbery

Detectives from Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit are renewing their appeal for witnesses and information as they continue to investigate an armed robbery in Keysborough last year.

Almost eight months ago, a man armed with a firearm entered a bottle shop at the corner of Corrigan Road and Kingsclere Avenue about 6.25pm on Saturday, 19 December 2020.

The offender threatened a male staff member and ripped the cash register from the counter before fleeing in a grey 2010 Toyota RAV4.

The vehicle was located a short time later in Springvale South where it had been set on fire.

Despite an extensive investigation and several public appeals, detectives are yet to make an arrest.

Investigators are still extremely keen to catch up with the man involved, who is described as 180cm tall, with solid build and was wearing black clothing at the time.

Police are also keen to speak to any witnesses who may have not spoken with police at the time.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
