Police continue to investigate break and enter and steal offences at Port Macquarie

Detectives from Mid North Coast Police District are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate multiple alleged break and enter and trespass offences at Port Macquarie last month.

At some time between 1-5am on Saturday 29 June 2019, an unknown number of persons allegedly broke into a home on Settlement Point Road, Port Macquarie.

Police also allege a 1998 white Ford Utility was stolen from a home on Girraween Road, Settlement Point during this time.

Later that morning, the vehicle was recovered at a car park on Bay Street, Port Macquarie.

A 24-year-old man was charged by investigators. He remains before the courts.

Detectives from Mid North Coast Police District are continuing to investigate the incident and believe other people may have more information that could assist with inquiries.

They would also like to speak with two men, believed to be fishing nearby at the time, who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
