Police continue to investigate death in Thomson

Homicide Squad detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Thomson yesterday.

Overnight, a 32-year-old North Geelong man presented at hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is under police guard assisting detectives with their enquiries.

Emergency services were called to an address on Fagg Street about 3.50pm yesterday to reports of two injured men.

One of the men, a 24-year-old from Corio, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries while the other, a 26-year-old Corio man, sadly died at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established and investigations remain ongoing.
