Police continue to investigate fatal shooting in Prahran

Homicide Squad detectives continue to investigate a fatal shooting in Prahran this morning.

A 37-year-old man from Narre Warren South suffered life-threatening injuries during the incident however died in hospital this afternoon.

A 28-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Four other people were injured including a 26-year-old man who presented himself to hospital this afternoon with non-life threatening injuries believed to have been sustained at the shooting.

A 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It is believed she may have fallen at the scene of the shooting and hit her head on the ground.

A 50-year-old man and a 29-year-old man both sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating if a black Porsche SUV seen leaving the area is related to the incident.

The Porsche was later found burnt out in Wollert.

An investigation is underway and the exact circumstances are still being established.
