Police continue to search for missing man Rupert

Police are continuing to appealfor public assistance to help locate missing Doveton man Rupert.

The 85-year-old was last seen at an address in Doveton on 15 April about 12pm.

However, Rupert’s vehicle was seen travelling on Eastlink at 6:44pm yesterday from Boronia Rd, Vermont South to Burwood Highway, Wantirna.

He is driving a white 2000 Toyota Landcruiser, registration QDN391.

Rupert is Caucasian, about 155cm tall, of medium build with white hair and a moustache.

Police and family have concerns for Rupert due to medical conditions and his age.

It’s believed Rupert has a full tank of petrol, no money and has not taken his medication.

An image of Rupert has been released in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his current whereabouts.
