Police execute warrant after spate of break and enter offences - Chifley, Central West PDs

Police have executed a search warrant on a home in Orange yesterday following investigations into a spate of break and enter offences targeting businesses in the state's Central West.

In May 2019, officers from Central West Proactive Investigation Team commenced an investigation into break and enters which targeted 13 locations in the Chifley and Central West Police Districts.

Cash and an EFTPOS machine were among items stolen.

Officers from Central West Police District executed a search warrant at a home on Nyrang Street, Orange yesterday (Tuesday 18 June 2019), where they seized items alleged to be the proceeds of crime.

Police also seized cannabis, cash, prohibited weapons and ammunition.

A 35-year-old woman is assisting police as investigations continue into the matter.
