Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary at a construction site in Macleod yesterday, Victoria Police say.
It is believed a male entered the address on Terrance Way about 10.15am on Sunday.
While inside, the male stole a number of power tools.
The tools were all marked with a "BE" or "BLD ENG" in orange or black paint.
Police have released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
He is described as about 175cm tall with a medium build and was wearing what appeared to be a purple velure track suit or similar.
