Police hold concerns for welfare of Amoonguna/Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are searching for a child reported missing from Amoonguna Community, just outside Alice Springs.

The child's family reported him missing this afternoon after searching for him themselves for four days.

Tyler Palmer, aged 12, was last seen by family on Saturday 5 June. He had attended his grandmother's house about 5pm and went to the community oval with a friend. He has not been seen since.

Watch Commander Danny Bell said, "Tyler's family describes his absence as uncharacteristic, and they are very concerned for his welfare. Police are urging anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact us immediately on 131 444."

Tyler is described as 160cm tall with a slight build and dark hair with blond tips. He was last seen wearing light blue track pants, a grey t-shirt, black hoodie and black runners.
