Northern Territory Police Force are investigating following an aggravated burglary that occurred in Katherine on Saturday morning.
Around 12am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports that three male youths had allegedly entered a residence on Bernard Street before stealing a vehicle from the location.
A short time later, police sighted the stolen Toyota Hilux travelling along the Stuart highway and successfully deployed a tyre deflation device.
The vehicle came to a stop and the alleged offended fled the scene on foot into nearby bushland.
Strike Force Cerberus have carriage of the incident and investigations are ongoing.
The offenders remain outstanding.
