Police are appealing for assistance following a malicious damage incident in Sydney's west late last year, which left an elderly woman seriously injured.
About 1.25am on Wednesday 17 December 2025, emergency services were called to a unit on Bradman Road, Shalvey, after a brick was thrown through the window of the property.
A 79-year-old woman who was inside the home at the time was struck in the face by the brick.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman for serious facial injuries before she was taken to hospital for further assessment.
Officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV footage of a man who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a medium build, and was wearing a blue t-shirt, black pants, a black hat, and white sneakers.
